BIO
Trev Campbell is. DJ, producer, and taste-maker hailing from San Francisco, whose career has shaped by 15 years immersed in the city's underground electronic music culture. Known for groove-driven sets that blend deep house warmth, hypnotic percussion, and real chugging low-end rhythms, Trev Campbell has built a reputation for dance floor coused DJing that prioritizes the flow, the atmospher, and the musical story telling.
In 2013, alongside longtime friend Bob Five, Campbell co-founded Black Magic Disko, a party that quickly became a staple of the San Francisco underground scene. The series hosted a rotating lineup of respected local and international DJs and helped cement Trev's role not only as a performer but also as a curator and community builder within the city’s nightlife scene.
He further expanded his presence in the scene as a resident DJ and head of A&R with Smoke N’ Mirrors Records (OM Records) and event production with Listed Productions, while continuing to perform at parties both above and below ground across the United States. In 2015, he launched his own label, Das Sind Wir, as a platform to showcase music from friends and emerging artists across the global dance music community. Early releases from artists including Powel and Death on the Balcony received strong support and helped establish the label as a respected underground imprint. In 2017 Trev was planning to move back to Hamburg for a residency at Sudpöl, however his wine label required him to stay stateside.
Today, Trev Campbell continues to divide his time between DJing, studio work, and curating new music through Das Sind Wir, while also pursuing creative work beyond the club world. His musical identity draws from youthful explorations of disco, techno, acid house, and A LOT of deep house, resulting in a distinctive sound that merges hypnotic grooves with a slightly darker, chugging energy on the dance floor.
After a hiatus during the COVID era, Das Sind Wir is poised for a renewed chapter, with 2026 shaping up to be a significant year of new releases and activity. As Trev Campbelll increasingly performs out of state and country, he continues to carry the spirit of San Francisco’s underground dance culture to dance floors around the world.
Over the years, Trev has supported the likes of Daniel Bortz, Galen, Monika Kruse, Bob Moses, Trickski, Pillowtalk, Dubfire, Mr. C, Jason Kendig, Urulu, Carl Craig, Powel, dOP, Blakkat, DJ Sneak, Butane, Solar, Andhim, Martin Landsky, Simon Baker, Marc Houle, [a]pendics.shuffle, H.O.S.H., Danny Daze, Eddie C, Walley Callerio, Robbie Akbal, Dance Spirit, Jay Tripwire, Evil Eddie Richards, Death On The Balcony, Mind Against, Inxec, Clarian, Pezzner, and more…
